关于环境绩效与财务绩效的关系,传统学派认为,用于废物处理或是污染防治策略的环境支出,是一种义务性的但没有产出的企业资源消耗(Palmer等,1995)[2]。然而,修正学派认为污染的预防可以给公司创造一个重新评估的机会,为公司提供一种战略性规划(例如,循环再造替代性原料,减少对环境有害的材料等),进而转化为公司的竞争性优势(Porter和Linde,1995)[3]。Konar和Cohen(2001)[4]认为在增加遵从成本和未来或有负债的情况下,较好的环境评分会吸引更多投资者。考虑到环境问题的各种特征以及不同的市场和利益相关者行为所带来的影响,国内外学者得出了不同的研究成果(Porte and Vander Linda,1995; Hart and Ahuja,1996,Russo and Fouts,1997;Konar and Cohen,2001;King and Lenox,2002;Nakao etal,2007,Ambec and Lanoie,2008)。

The influence of environmental performance on financial performance under low carbon economy
-- Empirical Evidence from China's oil industry

Abstract:As a starting point of a low carbon economy in this paper, and combined with the actual situation of environmental aspects of China's oil industry , The methodological approach of this study mainly includes factor analysis,correlation analysis and OLS regression analysis.The sample data are collected from the Environmental statistics yearbookbetween 2000 and 2010,and various control variables such as corporation size are considered during the regressionanalysis, The study shows that, a higher resource consumption and pollution emissions have a negative impact on corporate finance, and environmental governance will weaken the company's financial strength in the short term, but the positive and effective environmental governance will become a potential competitive advantage for a long time, it can leads to the win-win situation of environmental and finance. In order to achieve sustainable development of enterprises, the conclusion will helps oil companies implement appropriate environmental management measures.
